KRI is currently seeking contractors to fill the following positions:
Data Miner
Requirements:
At least 5 years of Data Mining experience applied to customer data.
Applied Data Mining experience in at least one of the following industries (in order of preference):
Retail & Marketing (CRM)
Banking and Finance
Telecommunications
Healthcare
Education
Advanced knowledge of various Data Mining techniques for profiling, classification, segmentation, and prediction (time and non-time dependent). Including visualization, neural networks, and genetic algorithms.
Knowledge/experience with SPSS and/or Clementine is a plus.
Data Architect
Design complex database models to support advanced analytics on an Enterprise level.
This position requires a senior-level person who has excellent communication skills,
is able to work with a team and successfully meet aggressive deadlines.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide strategic and tactical level technical leadership to database development
Manage analysis and design of the logical and physical data model for new projects as well as support for existing data
Maintain data model and data dictionary for development, testing and production environments
Work closely with the business to understand data needs/requirements and provide innovative solutions
The knowledge/skills required to perform the job's basic responsibilities are as follows:
Computer Science degree
10 years professional experience in IT
3 - 5 years experience in the role of a Data Modeler/Data Architect. Must be proficient in data modeling tools such as Erwin
Extensive experience in implementing data warehousing and decision support systems
Extensive technical knowledge and experience in database management techniques including logical data modeling, physical database optimization, data distribution, and database performance monitoring
